tHE PHOTOBOOTH IS ON THE edges OF BEING BOTH A PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SPACE. Located On the side of the street with just half a curtain to divide you from the public eye, for a brief moment, this spaces becomes your own as the curtain is drawn and the money inserted.
DICTATED by the limitations of time and space, this series creates an abstract set of images, doused in nostalgia, made with a little planning and a lot of chance
They create an ongoing MOMENT with the picture creeping FROM ONE FRAME TO THE NEXT.

just before smart phones took over, I went backwards. I became obsessed with creating pinhole cameras, from boxes, bins and entire rooms. there is something enchanting about using a piece of tin can to make a lens and an old box to make a camera body which never fails to produce strange and beautiful results.
I took this idea further and teach pinhole photography sessions in London. Also alongside MY CREATIVE PARTNER JESSICA CHARLESTON, we combined the photobooth and pinhole photography to create our very own pinhole passport camera that produces a strip of four pinhole passport photos which we've toured festivals and events with under 'The eMPORIUM' NAME.
